The challenge
Bring predictive text into a keyboard that works in spatial applications.
The work
We independently released a Unity XR keyboard, then collaborated with Fleksy to prototype its predictive typing SDK in XR. The work connected spatial key input with word prediction, exploring how suggestions could support text entry inside an immersive application. It brought an existing typing technology into a different interaction setting through a working prototype.
The project began with the spatial keyboard itself and developed into an integration with Fleksy. That progression connected two parts of text entry: how a person selects characters in XR and how prediction can help them complete words.
