The challenge
At the time, the Meta Avatars API and its integration with Photon Fusion made multiplayer development particularly difficult. Developers needed working examples and a clear explanation of how the pieces fit together.
The work
Created in collaboration with Photon, the course grew out of our multiplayer template. It made the difficult avatar API and networking integration accessible through step-by-step Unity instruction, covering avatar setup, networked poses and shared interactions. Photon Fusion has evolved substantially since recording, and the Meta Avatars generation used in the course has been deprecated.
