The challenge
Developers using different tools and building different experiences needed a meaningful path to compete.
The work
We played a substantial role in shaping the competition by proposing the categories and use cases developers would compete in. We also proposed how the prize money should be divided between those categories. Together, those decisions helped translate platform goals into concrete opportunities for different kinds of developers and experiences.
Category design determines which ideas have a clear place in a competition. Prize allocation gives those categories practical weight. Our contribution addressed both parts of the structure, connecting the proposed use cases with how entrants would compete for funding.
