Discovering spatial computing through an early football statistics app and an Apple workshop train diorama.

visionOS app development; train diorama created at an Apple workshop

Apps & prototypes

Serie A standings in the early visionOS simulator. Play to see the train diorama and football statistics app.

The challenge

Explore how applications and information can work in spatial interfaces on Apple Vision Pro.

The work

As soon as the first visionOS simulator beta became available on Mac, we built a football statistics prototype to explore the new platform. It presented Serie A standings, goal scorers and league tables in a spatial interface. Later, at an Apple Vision Pro workshop in Paris in January 2025, we built a native train diorama to explore scene layout, materials and spatial interaction.

These projects approached visionOS from two directions. Football statistics explored how familiar information could live in a spatial interface during the earliest simulator beta, while the workshop diorama focused on arranging and interacting with a native three-dimensional scene.

  • Early visionOS football statistics prototype with Serie A standings and goal scorers
  • Train diorama built at an Apple Vision Pro workshop
  • Recorded demonstrations of both experiences

The result

Hands-on discovery of visionOS, from its earliest Mac simulator beta to native spatial scenes at an Apple workshop.
